Transport yourself directly into a massive celebration. Surround yourself with reds and golds, lucky symbols and lots of cash! Happy Riches is filled with light vibes, Asian styled graphics, and cheery music to guide you along the way.

It’s very clear, right off the bat, that NetEnt has reskinned their older game, Flowers, to create this new one.

They have a habit of pushing out as many games as possible, and many other games have been created with this Asian style.

It’s simple, yet elegant, and clearly keeps the players happy.

Happy Riches Design (NetEnt):

The overall look and feel of this game is – alright.

Happy Riches is very cute and attention-grabbing. The icon is what made us want to give it a go when looking at it laying in the list filled with other slot games, but once you get inside of it, we realised it is a bit lacklustre.

It’s missing out on originality and doesn’t really offer anything new.

Maybe we feel like way because we see so many versions of this “Good Fortune” “Asian-Styled” look – or maybe it’s because this game has already been made and is not really “updated”.

We do adore the cute little symbols that fall all over the board, but we can’t help but feel like there is something missing from here.

Flowers, which is the original version of this game offered some more exciting experiences and animations, that replicated the feel of the gameplay. When you were doing well, you could see the smiling faces, and vice versa.

Now, it’s not all negativity from us.

Happy Riches does offer some soothing gameplay that is never “too much”.

There are definitely some times that we can enjoy and appreciate the simplistic setup and just focus on playing the game that is in front of us.

This 30-bet line slot from our friends over at NetEnt features Double symbols, Wild substitutions, and Free Spins with Stacked Wild symbols. We’ll break down into all of that later.

Happy Riches Symbols:

The symbols used here are very cute!

The dragon will be your highest paying option coming in at 5,000 when you land on 5. Then you have an adorable cat, a golden fish, lanterns, a jade symbol, oranges, and finally A, J, Q and K symbols.

While Happy Riches isn’t a feature-heavy game, there are still some exciting small ones to keep your eyes peeled for.

Double Symbols:

Double symbols can be awarded to you during the base gameplay. These symbols can change a winning bet line to have anything from 3 to 10 symbols in total.

Free Spins symbols and medium win symbols can count as either single or Double symbols.

Double symbols are a pretty simple concept to grasp. They will count as two single symbols.

Stacked Wilds:

During any Free Spins, you can find yourself awarded with some Stacked Wilds. These special types of WILDS are symbols that can appear randomly in stacks of 2 or 3.

Happy Riches is a new release from NetEnt, but we feel like it is unfair to really call it “new”. This game has an average return to player score, high volatility, cute graphics and no new features.

We don’t see this game becoming a fan favourite anytime soon, but we still recommend that you give it a go and make this decision for yourself. If you’re looking to try Happy Riches out for free then click here. This will take you to a DEMO version of the game where you can feel it out for yourself.
